| For Kim Snyder, developing a quality voice has been a lifetime adventure. Traveling in a family trio from the age of four, Kim was always the one with the most to say. And it was that reputation that lead to an offer to work in radio at the age of 16 when a local station was not satisfied with the applicants who had graduated from broadcasting school.
Not sure how to sound like anything but a cheerleader on speed, Kim flipped the dial to find the best female voice she could. And within three years, she was offered her job. After years of voicing radio commercials for free, Kim never considered that people would pay for her to put her stamp on their campaigns. So it was a pleasant surprise when clients started asking if they could pay her to voice their commercials. Before long she was drawing the attention of major clients like Sprint and the top talent agency in Kansas City and leaving radio behind for a full time career as a voice talent, studio vocalist and live performer. With on air experience in CHR, Classic Rock, Light Rock, Country, and Christian AC and Hit radio, voicing radio imaging was a natural transition. And after thousands of hours behind the board listening to every commercial under the sun, Kim found voicing commercials, on-hold messaging and interactive media to be second nature. Kim has trained other voice talent, taught workshops and continues to hone her craft as a voice talent in the San Fransisco bay area. She is also a vocal instructor, producer and live performer. |
